Feb 23, 2011 · MV natively uses 48x48 for sprites. When you design your sprite, keep this in mind. Alternatively, If you start with a large image and scale it down to the proper size in an image editing software (GIMP, Photoshop), you shouldn't lose any resolution on the image itself... meaning it shouldn't look pixelated or blurry.
